ERCuNi Copper Nickel alloy welding wire is especially good for seawater corrosion resistance. It is particularly suitable for the welding and hard facing of copper nickel such as machinery, desalting of seawater, ship-building, oil refinery, and food processing industries. This copper nickel alloy wire is also suitable for welding of nonferrous alloys, dissimilar steel materials.
This alloy is also used for gas metal and gas tungsten arc welding. Can also be used by oxy-fuel welding of 70/30, 80/20, and 90/10 copper nickel alloys. ERCuNi is occasionally used for overlay on carbon steel, but can only be used after appplying a layer of ERNi-1 first.
- It offers the best processing features for semi-fabrications. With hot or cold working or casting, fabrication with specified dimensions and strengths can be achieved.
