MIG & TIG
The nominal composition (wt%) of ERNi-1 weld metal is 96Ni, 3Ti. This filler metal is used in forgings and castings for welding industrial pure nickel (B160, B161, B162 and B163, UNS N02200 and N02201 according to ASTM standards) by tungsten gas welding, metal gas welding, submerged arc welding and plasma welding. The filler metal contains sufficient Ti to control the porosity in the weld metal when using these welding methods
