Inconel Welding Electrode 117
AWS ENiCrCoMo-1
UNS W86117
Inconel 617’s electrodes are used for welding nickel-chrome-cobalt-molybdenum alloy (UNS N06617) to itself and steel, and for surfacing steel with nickel-chrome-cobalt-molybdenum weld metals. These electrodes are also used for applications where optimum strength and oxidation resistance are required in the temperature range 1500°F (820°C)to 2100°F )1150°C), especially when welding nickel-ferrochrome base materials. Electrodes smaller than 1/8 inch (3.2 mm) can be used for welding in all positions. Larger electrodes are used for welding in flat or horizontal positions.

Product Detail
Specifications:
AWS/ASME Spec 5.11 ; AWS Class ENiCrCoMo-1 ; UNS W86117
Key Features:
- Inconel 617 Coated Electrodes are highly suitable for welding nickel-chromium-cobalt-molybdenum alloys.
- These are also highly appreciated for overlay cladding where a similar composition is required.
- The deposited weld metal of Inconel 617 coated Electrodes provides optimum strength and oxidation resistance among 1500°F – 2100°F, especially while welding on base metals of nickel-iron-chromium alloys.
- Inconel 617 Coated Electrodes have less content of carbon which prevents carbide accumulation from within. This increases the life span of products.
