ENiMo-7 (UNS W80665 ) / Hastelloy B2 welding material / Nickel Alloy Welding Electrodes / AWS A5.11

SMAW

wire 001

ENiCu-7 is a flux-core, copper-rich nickel-base alloy designed for corrosion resistance. It can be used to join different alloys, surfacing steel. It is manufactured with a high purity nickel core with a metal-balanced basic flux coating that also contains pure molybdenum for alloying purposes and an alloy for grain refinement. A silicate binder used for extrusion ensures coating strength and hygroscopic resistance.

Product Detail

  • N-NiMo-7 is a nickel-molybdenum flux-coated electrode developed specifically for welding similar base metals, such as Hastelloy® B-2 to itself or to steel, and nickel alloys
  • Excellent resistance to pitting and stress corrosion cracking commonly caused by acids due to controlled level of carbon, iron, cobalt, nickel, and molybdenum
  • Chemical processing industries on parts exposed to all concentrations and temperatures of hydrochloric acid
  • Parts subject to sulphuric, phosphoric, and acetic acids
  • Should not be used in the presence of cupric or ferric salts
  • Designed for use on DC+ only. The stable arc is readily controllable and the slag viscosity allows the smaller diameter to be used positionally.
  • The weld beads are bright and evenly rippled with fillet welds having a slight convex profile.
  • Metal recovery is some 130% with respect to core wire weight
