Hastelloy B Welding Electrode
AWS ENiMo-1
UNS W80001
The nominal composition (wt %) of weld metal produced by electrodes of Hastelloy B is 67 Ni, 28 Mo, and 5 Fe. Electrodes of the ENiMo-1 classification are used for welding nickel-molybdenum alloys as well as the clad side of joints in steel clad with a nickel-molybdenum alloy, and for welding nickel-molybdenum alloys to steel and to other nickel-base alloys. Typical specifications for the nickel-molybdenum base metal are ASTM B333, B335, B619, B622, and B626, all of which have UNS Number N10001. ENiMo-1 electrodes are normally used only in the flat position.
