Il peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 pour assembler diff\u00e9rents alliages et surfacer l'acier. Il est fabriqu\u00e9 \u00e0 partir d'un noyau de nickel de haute puret\u00e9 avec un rev\u00eatement de flux de base \u00e9quilibr\u00e9 en m\u00e9taux qui contient \u00e9galement du molybd\u00e8ne pur \u00e0 des fins d'alliage et un alliage pour l'affinage du grain. Un liant silicat\u00e9 utilis\u00e9 pour l'extrusion assure la solidit\u00e9 du rev\u00eatement et la r\u00e9sistance \u00e0
